Opportunities to get out and about on Anais aside from heading deep into the creeks for cyclonic events such as Yasi were limited and frustrating. Catching up with friends on Magic in Trinity Inlet was a fortunate moment as our friends alerted us to the latest copy of the Cruising Helmsman (May 2011) which featured on the front cover a photo of Anais anchored off Fitzroy Island. Published proof that we have been out of the harbour. Tragically, since arriving in Cairns our cruising lifestyle has taken a long and rolling stall. |
