David and I met in Canberra. We found we clicked with each other and we both had a common dream – to live on the water. The dream then inspired both of us to sell up everything we had and to move onto our recently purchased yacht, “Anais” (pronounced like the perfume “Anais Anais”).
The move meant giving up everything, literally . Our jobs, our newly purchased home furniture, local community involvements and close contact with our family and friends – all sacrificed to pursue our goal.
We kept the cat – Princess. She became the 1st Mate on our boat.
We hope through this blog we can see that whilst we did give up a number of things in pursuing our goal it all meant something. To our friends and family that know us, thanks for your support and love, keep in touch.
