Yes, there are three of us who are travelling on the yacht – Dave, “Princess” and I. Princess is responsible for keeping rats off the boat. We pay her a handful of crunchies morning and night, clean water and the occasional pat. Princess seems to be keeping up her end of the bargain as we have not seen any rats to date. And yes, Princess periodically checks all the cupboards on the boat and when she is in the mood for inspecting the cupboards we hear all about it – until we open the cupboard door, of course. Princess travels the seas with us and is not totally immuned to motion sickness. For us it is a sign that the seas are a bit rough. As if we don’t no that before she throws up at our feet. Anyway, here is a picture of Princess on her favourite cat pole at our home in Canberra before our departure. We have moved the cat pole onto the boat as an attempt to comfort her on the massive changes we are subjecting her to. |
