Hervey Bay

From Fraser Island we planned to head directly for Bundaberg. However, a strong wind warning came out on the day we left and given our continued troubles with the generator we thought maybe Hervey Bay (Urangan) would offer both a releif from the weather and a permanent solution for the generator.

Well we were right about Hervey Bay offering great shelter from the weather. We still had to pull out our winter woollies but things warmed up fairly quickly.
Most facilities were available such as coffee, restaurants and bread. As for the generator, we outlayed enough money to Hervey Bay Marine to suggest we should have generator services – call me the ultimate skeptic but time will only tell.
