An early morning scene

Before embarking on our journey, Dave and I moored our yacht in the river at Batemans Bay. The facilities to accomodate a 55 foot yacht in Batesman Bay were limited and as such we called on the services of a gentleman by the name of Paul Sullivan. Paul kindly put us up on a spare mooring of his. The first was on the ocean side of the bridge. Shortly after, Paul needed us to move our yacht to the other side of the bridge. We were 4 weeks into the ownership of the vessel and were about to learn how to arrange for a bridge lift and passage under the bridge in a timely manner. I am happy to report all went well and we have arranged for three other seperate bridges to be lifted since then. To the right is an early morning picture of our bridge view at Batemans Bay.
