The Painting Commences

Our undercoat was applied this morning. It was a thick coat of Jotun 2 pack. We have placed Princess into a cattery and vacated the boat. The odour from the undercoat is not too serious however, once the painter starts to apply the top coat the smell will become over powering. Also, the logistics of getting on and off the boat without smudging or marking the paint is next to impossible.

Dave is now preparing the timber from our pulpit. The timber looked quite old and tattered. Now it’s starting to look like beautiful peices of stained teak.
